Flic Tyrer
Sleep consultant and Certificate in Responsive Sleep Training mentor
Bio:
Flic is dedicated to empowering parents to prioritise their own well-being while improving their child’s sleep. At the forefront of her work is transforming the lives of families and helping them enjoy the rollercoaster that is parenting. As a Mum of two young children, she struggled through awful sleep deprivation with her eldest where she rarely slept for longer than an hour through the night and had to be held for every nap throughout the day.
Looking back, Flic feels she was robbed of being able to enjoy being a new Mummy and regrets not getting more help. Recently, she reached a point where she felt broken and prioritised herself for once by hiring a coach. The transformation in herself was HUGE and this meant she was a better Mummy, less snappy, with more energy and motivation.
It was so easy to see the impact this had on her family and this is what Flic is able to give to her clients. By getting them more sleep, their wellbeing improves massively. They gain more energy, better mental and physical health and time for themselves or their relationships. The little one also benefits from getting more sleep. They become more settled, get the optimum sleep required for their development and grow in confidence.
Lack of sleep has a huge impact on mental health. Having faced mental health challenges throughout pregnancy and navigating through extreme tiredness, Flic understands the toll this can take. Her approach is holistic and gentle with full support throughout.
Alongside Creating Dreams Sleep Solutions, Flic is a mentor for Lavender Blue Sleep Consulting, providing support to Daisy and other students in the Certificate in Responsive Sleep Training.

Michele Taylor
Sleep consultant and Certificate in Responsive Sleep Training mentor
Bio:
Previous clients recommend Michele because they felt listened to, understood, supported and they got results.
Michele is mum to 2 boys. Her eldest was a bad sleeper, so she knows what it is like to spend many nights sleeping on the hard floor, or doing what is necessary to get some sleep. Like a lot of parents, she was juggling working, life and parenting on little sleep.
She was previously joint owner of a successful IT consultancy, serving government and private companies. She has 20 years experience of listening carefully to understand issues and needs, problem solving and being flexible and adaptable, all of which are crucial skills for a sleep consultant.
Michele uses gentle and responsive sleep methods which are tailored to work with your family and your situation. She will listen without judgement to your current situation, goals and needs. She will understand your family - not just your child’s sleep, work with you to agree on what feels right for you and give you the support you need to start getting better sleep for your family.
Alongside Hug and Snug sleep consulting, Michele is a mentor for Lavender Blue Sleep Consulting, providing support to Daisy and other students in the Certificate in Responsive Sleep Training.

Daisy Ferns
Sleep consultant and founder of the Certificate in Responsive Sleep Training
Bio:
Daisy discovered sleep consulting after experiencing severe sleep deprivation with her daughter. Assuming she was just one of those children who didn't sleep well, we just put up with the exhaustion thinking she would eventually sleep through the night. When she got to 4.5 and still wasn't sleeping (plus we had a newborn by this point) we realised we need to do something, and fast.
Working with a sleep consultant changed my life. Once Daisy had the support and guidance she needed, everything fell into place. The whole process left her obsessed with infant sleep and Daisy knew she wanted to help other families like her's. Before Daisy knew it, she was training to be a sleep consultant and hasn’t looked back.
As a certified sleep consultant Daisy uses gentle, responsive methods that are tailored to your child and your family, as let's face it, every child is different!
Daisy will not tell you to leave your child to 'cry it out.' Sleep training should not be a distressing process for anyone involved; we can absolutely get your child sleeping through the night using gentle and responsive methods.
If you have any questions about how and why Daisy's approach to sleep training works then please get in touch, Daisy would love to hear from you.
Daisy has been where you are now and she knows how it feels to be exhausted. When you are ready, she is here to help.
